Under the bonnet you'll find the now iconic 1598cc supercharged engine packing an impressive 163 bhp & 155 ibft (some of you may know that I did my apprenticeship in 2001 on the MINI at Cowley and part of that was press days on Fridays, we rolling roaded them and every single one made more like 175/200 bhp.)
