Ok so this is about to happen…………..

Welcome to the ultimate Mini, in my opinion there was never a better Mini made. The 1275 GT is the best of all Mini’s and Mk’s. DAX has then been taken and improved even further!

DAX is a REAL MINI 1275 GT from 1979, they came with all sorts of wonderful upgrades from your standard Mini at the time including 3 clocks, 1275 upgraded engine, uprated breaks (mk3 Cooper S) lots of chrome etc.

DAX has been thought a major restoration and then when he landed with the last owner he then went back  for another new paint job, you’ve NEVER seen paint like this, its like glass and after its £3800.00 paint job its then had an £800 ceramic coat to keep it perfect! It’s painted in a very snazzy Landrover Metallic Blue and contrasting Silver roof.

At the same time the engine went for a complete rebuild and rebore, so +20 block, all new inners, pistons, Kent MD 276 camshaft, cam followers,  Oil pump, All new gaskets, Evo water pump, Kavlar hoses, Main bearing and big end shells, New uprated Diff, Elec ignition, ported and polished head, double valve springs, Maniflow full manifold and full system. Brand new Twin Su’s, The list goes on and on, Fly’s along! This engine has done about 150 miles since the rebuild.

Everything that wasn’t refurbished is brand new and of course the is a huge file of receipts.

Inside we have a completely retrimmed original interior which is brand new and looks amazing and stand out from the crowd. This are how they should have come from factory so very OEM.

DAX is converted to 10 inch wheels and these are Cosmic wheels in Black & sliver two tone, They are of course perfect and wrapped in very sticky Yoko Advan tyres! These are the best you can get.

A few extra special things to mention are the Fuel tank painted in the same external Blue, the Alcantara wrapped steering wheel at £250 just to have it upholstered, rear parcel shelf and the brand new chrome accessories.

These are rarer than Cooper S’s and are already beginning to achieve huge prices, this are the next big thing in the Mini world and I expect them to exceed Cooper S prices within 5 years. You will not find a better example.
