He's a September 2006 MINI Cooper S JCW GP1, yes the supercharged R53 with the factory fitted John Cooper Works upgrades!

Finished in Thunder Blue metallic complimented with a pure silver contrast roof. Unmarked 18 inch light alloy wheels wrapped in brand new Michelin Pilot sport tyres, chilli red mirror caps & white indicators. Remodelled front & rear aprons, side skirts, underside panelling and new rear carbon wing spoiler all improve aerodynamics. Having travelled 91,041 miles with a full and comprehensive MINI service history, comes with 2 keys, all books, complete history and fully stamped service book. Has recently had the important supercharger service and timing chain replaced plus the crank pulley, belt and much more.

Under the bonnet theres a factory modified 1598cc supercharged engine packing an impressive 218bhp and 240nm of torque, the JCW GP kit includes an upgraded cylinder head, the difference being slightly enlarged on the exhaust ports. 11% reduction supercharger pulley thus giving you more boost, 1-step colder spark plugs, uprated injectors 380cc up from original 310cc, a JCW Cat-back exhaust system with decorative JCW tips (but this has been replaced with a full Cobra sports system that sounds magnificent), replacement supercharger which a Teflon coated, remapped ECU, updated air intake with pod style air filter, extra badging and individual serial numbers. The 6 speed manual gearbox on these is just brilliant. Tinsley comes with upgraded coil overs for improved stance plus a few more nice mods.

Inside the theme of less is more is on show! The Recaro sport seats are upholstered in panther black leather with red stitching, lots of adjustment and heated! The removal of the rear seat bench and the addition of aluminium rear axel trailing arms, the results of the weight saving can be felt in acceleration and cornering. 3 spoke multi function leather sports steering wheel and anthracite speedo & rev counter with red needle for maximum visibility all add to the experience. A few extra carbon bits are a nice touch.

All in all Tinsley is perfect, fun, fast, economical and appreciating in value at a vast rate.
