He's a VERY special Austin Mini 30 anniversary edition, sporting a revvy stage 1 tuned 998cc engine that is paired with a 4 speed manual gearbox. Sounds fantastic!

Having been used sparingly over the last 20 years, he's only covered around 10,000 miles. He comes with a fantastic history file showing every single bit of work carried out, including every MOT proving the mileage. Just 5 owners in his 33 years explains his great condition! He's covered only 55,214 miles.

The paint work is perfection. Having just been to my detailer for a full cut and polish, its gleaming!

Released in June 1989 and based on the Mini Mayfair they came in two exterior colour options, black or cherry red with decals and coachlines. Also the 1959-1989 crests and badging in gold. Having an upgraded exterior trim with Minilite wheels, chrome bumpers, door furniture, grille and body painted mirrors. They didn't stop there and the inside got the same treatment with half leather & lightening cloth finished with red piping. Matching red leather clad steering wheel, a rev counter, front door storage pockets and a security coded stereo. Limited to just 3000 for the UK market, 1000 in black and 2000 in cherry red, 2800 were manual and 200 auto, interestingly 600 with a sunroof. So Bertie is the rarer of the 2 colours! Not many of these are left on the roads especially in original condition.

He is totally standard other than the fabulous stage one tuning kit.

In summary Bertie is fantastic and extremely collectible.
