Meet Daisy. She's a Mary Quant Designer Mini.

In June 1988 Austin teamed up with the legendary designer Mary Quant to create the limited edition Mini Designer now better known as the Mary Quant Mini, these where based on the very successful Mini City but were given a very cool twist. This included only being offered in Black & White, Daisy is of course a Black (PMA - BLVC90) variant. They came with Nimbus Grey exterior trim which looked mega with the black especially as its very like a matte grey so way ahead of its time. They featured Twin coachlines and "Designer" logos on the sides, and boot lid. The main feature is of course the Black & White striped fabric with 'Mary Quant' signatures embossed. they had extra equipment that included Tinted glass, opening rear side windows, Leather-rim steering wheel and two vanity mirrors in the sun visors & all finished off with the Daisy motif badging. with only 2000 (1000 Black/1000 White) being produced this means there are very few remaining.

This particular example has to be the best in existence, having travelled only 68,683 Miles, she's been massively pampered. Daisy's just too good to have not been restored or at least repainted as all the panels look to be factory finished. Having recently had the whole interior refurbished with its original clothes, it presents like new. Also having had a full service and a carb rebuild she's ready for a many more happy miles.

As you'll see she's no longer totally standard, having had most of the nimbus grey bits swapped for chrome. Mini Lights have also been added. Internally she's completely as she left the factory. The eagle eye'd amongst you will spot the open roof, this has just been totally redone and is in perfect condition.
