This 'hot hatch' GTI variant of the Rover Metro, in British Racing Green with 1396cc K-Series 16-valve engine and half-leather interior, has come from a private collection.

Finished in the ultimate colour way of British Racing Green (BGR) over silver alloys. Mo is as he left the factory. The GTi came with a lovely body kit which makes it a great looking hot hatch.

Internally you are greeted with the absolutely beautiful and mega rare half leather Silverstone grey interior. Being a lux pack GTi the car comes with central locking, electric windows, half leather Silverstone interior (that is absolutely immaculate) and opening rear windows.

Under the bonnet sits the now famous K-Series 1396cc twin cam 16v engine!! Mo is the ultimate version being the MPi, this produces an impressive 103 bhp & 89 ibft. 0-60 is dispatched in 8.5 secs and goes all the way to 116 mph! handling was also improved with anti roll bars being fitted as standard to the GTi. He's travelled just 39917 miles from new and recently been treated to a new cambelt, plugs, oil and filter, and rear brake cylinders. also recently had a new fuel pump fitted via the correct method of dropping the rear subframe etc…

Mo comes with a fantastic history file including his original invoice from May 1993 showing a cost of £8345, worth more now than when new.
