Meet Robbie! MEGA LOW ODDS!
He's a 1995 Rover Mini Cooper. He of course sports the most famous name in Mini history, COOPER, which means he feels that little extra special.
Having been restored with a bare metal respray and the replacement of the front end and a few other small areas he presents wonderfully. He's wearing red paint with contrasting white roof (with union jack) & decals (the best combination in my opinion). Finished with all the usual stainless accessories and these are all brand new. Topped off with brand new John Brown 12x6 inch Minilight alloy wheels in anthracite/sliver wrapped in Yokohama A539 rubber and of course the all important Cooper badging. The paint on Robbies is magnificent.
Interior wise from factory Coopers were by far the best spec Mini's ever but Robbie is a completely different level to standard. Upgraded sports foldling leather & alcantara seats with matching diamond stitch rear seats. Black carpets, matts with red piping, healing and red seatbelts make this the perfect interior, this truly is a a masterpiece! An upgraded Cooper alcantara trimmed steering wheel and leather geaknob just feel quality. Not forgetting the black wooden dash with Cooper clocks housing all the important information. Spot the big screen that means apple car play and Android are availibe and parcel shelf fitted speakers. All new upgraded alloy door furniture and union jack doorcards finish it off perfectly.
Under the bonnet we find a 1.3i. Coopers from this era were the single point injection version and is a 1.3 (1275cc) litre engine is a naturally aspirated, overhead valve, 4 cylinder that develops 62 bhp (63 PS/46 kW) of power at 5700 rpm, and maximum torque of 95 N·m (70 lb·ft/9.7 kgm) at 3900 rpm. Power is transmitted to the wheels via a 4 speed manual transmission. The kerb weight is 700 kg. It is claimed to manage a top speed of 148 km/h or 92 mph, official fuel consumption is 5.8/8.4/7.7 l/100km 90 km/h / 120 km/h / city. When restored the engine was striped rebuilt and improved and is now producing 72 BHP. All engine ancillary's where replaced with new items including alternator, upgraded silicone hoses, rad etc. The addition of adjustable suspension with GAZ shocks means it rides lovely. A centre exit full exhaust system with LCB means he sounds fantastic. A fresh MOT and full service means he is show ready. New 4 pot alloy callipers, discs, pad and upgraded braided hoses take care of all the stopping requirements. Plenty more new parts.
These are now very valuable Minis and are certain to be the futures most collectible Minis. So why not get in the mix to win this appreciating British icon. He's an exceptionally well cared for example in the ultimate colour combination!
