2ND PRIZE IS A SWIFTUNE HERITAGE ROAD ROCKET ENGINE & GEARBOX. YES YOU READ THIS CORRECTLY WE HAVE TEAMED UP WITH THE GENIUSES AT SWIFTUNE TO BRING YOU THE ULTIMATE OPPORTUNITY. A LITTLE MORE ON IVY.

She is a real head turner and always attracts a crowd wherever it goes.

Finished in Amaranth Purple, pearlescent flip paint, purple to blue.  Rover only ever made 750 Equinox minis.  250 in black, 250 in silver and 250 in Amaranth.

She's gone through a full extensive rebuild by a mini specialist.  Every panel showing the slightest sign of corrosion has been replaced. It has had a full new floor, wings, rear quarters, inner wings, door skins, boot, bonnet, rear valance, sills, front valance, cross member etc...

The car was primed, then rubber sealed all under the car, then painted again with 5 coats of base.  All the seams have been rubber sealed. The car floor has also been sealed.  This car should not rust again if looked after.  It has been garage stored since the rebuild.

The engine and gearbox had a full strip and rebuild.

Here is a brief list of things done, but there really is too much to list.

• Gearbox housing acid clean and painted, gears have been reconditioned or replaced, new bearings and seals, new clutch, new slave cylinder and arm.
• Engine has been stripped and carbon cleaned,
• New crank and bearings.
• New piston rings, pistons carbon cleaned.
• Kent Cam 266, new valves, followers, valve springs, shims and collets.
• Duplex lightened twin timing chain, lightened vernier pulley, new tensioners,

• DNS blue oil filter housing, braided flexi hose, blue take off.
• Mini Sport 1:5:1 Roller tip rockers

• Evolution extra large capacity water pump
• Evolution water pump pulley
• Polished Chrome 45 amp alternator
• Fletcher three core aluminium radiator

• DNS Blue engine steady and thermostat housing and sandwich plate

• Literally every SMIFFY Bits chrome parts that were available for the car, relay housing cover, head bolt covers, coil cover and clamp, brackets, relays covers, filter bolts etc...
• The ECU has been polished to a high chrome finish
• New fan and inner wing fan on a switch on the dash board
• Throttle body stripped and cleaned, throttle cable arm and bracket polished to mirror chrome
• Braided hoses
• New fuel pump and fuel lines, braided under the car
• Long center branch Maniflow manifold 3-2-1 - powder coated so will never corrode
• Decat pipe in polished chrome - Exhaust is straight through, twin rear exhausts
• New bosch Lambda sensor
• All new vacuum hoses and breather pipes
• New front and rear Sub frames, powder coated, so will never corrode
• Rear minifins brake drums, again powder coated
• New brake lines, junctions, handbrake cables, shoes etc
• Front drilled and grooved discs, calipers powder coated, new seals and pads, braided brake hoses - MINI Sport
• New fuel filter, hoses and Polished chrome housing
• New wheel bearings, cv boots, bottom arms
• Everything under the car has been powder coated
• All new poly bushes
• Coil spring conversions front and rear
• New gas shockers front and rear

She's only been taken to one classic car show, where there was some really serious money classics . IVY came 3rd 'in year' class, she hadn't even been booked in, she turned up on the day, and was advised to enter it by the judges. This Mini is a real potential show winner.
