Meet Optimus, I couldn't resist!

He's a 1380cc Fast road engined transformer. has a rattly cam, upgraded cooling system that includes, Fletcher radiator, hoses and water pump. Running an 1inch 3/4 carb with K&N air filter which makes for a wonderful induction noise, all paired with a 3 branch Manifold and full exhaust system which sounds epic. To handle all this extra performance upgraded brakes where of course required, so a 7.5inch performance brake conversion has been added, this also allows for the all important 10 inch wheel conversion, more on that in a minute. These brakes are the holy grail for minis & are the go to setup for any fast road Mini. Also worth mentioning all the ancillaries have also been replaced, including braided hoses etc. A brand new clutch , master cylinder &  slave cylinder have also been installed. All new fully adjustable suspension, Gaz shocks,  donuts and adjustable trumpets. Back to the wheels, 10 inch Minilite wheels wrapped in sticky Yoko Advan 165/70 R10 tyres keep you connected to the road.

The Mini had been fully restored and repainted in Audi Nardo grey, has a one piece Curly carbon fibre front end which is a work of art! An Innocenti grill was chosen to set him apart. All the welds have been resin sealed. Group 2 arches have been chosen in contrasting black and all black accessories mixed with some lovely chrome touches just finish it off nicely. I'd personally go the whole hog and black everything out but thats the winners choice.

Internally continues the fast road and contrasting black vibes, a Mota Lita leather clad steering wheel, MPI upgraded black dash housing all the important information such as oil pressure, rev counter etc. A nice carbon handbrake lever is a nice touch. All black door furniture. Cooper door cards and matching rear seats paired with all black Cobra classic bucket seats hold you tightly in place. This has been built to go fast so weight saving is key, lots of unnecessary luxuries have gone.

All in all this makes for a special Mini and of course sounds epic, is engaging and raw. the carbon front end transforms the look and feel of the Mini and of course it weights basically nothing with the weight saving of all that removed metal paired with the incredible engine you know your driving something fast.
