1275 bored out to a 1380, Head skimmed, ported and polished, Swiftune SW7-07 Billet cam, Swiftune CSI Electronic A+ 59D Dizzy, 1.5mm high lift rockers, Swiftune Big & main bearings, everything else is Swiftune main cap dowels etc, Twin SU carbs fitted and tuned with printout (86bhp to the wheels), Cross pin diff, Alley rad, Fuel cell in boot with electronic pump and finished with Full custom centre exhaust. This Mini sounds wild. Paired with a totally rebuild Gearbox and KAD quick shifter this mini is a flyer.

Fully adjustable suspension including upgraded Shockers, Tie bars and Camber arms. Upgraded 4 pot callipers, discs & rear brakes take care of the stopping power. 13 inch Revolution wheels wrapped in sticky Yoko A539 tyres.

In 2017 Austin had a full restoration including lots of new metal, he was striped, undersealed and re painted in Black at the same time the subframes where given the same treatment. Group 4 arches have been fitted to cover the wider wheels. MK1 grill in matching black, all the chrome you'd expect and the white door and bonnet decals finish the cafe racer look off wonderfully. Also worth a mention is the upgraded LED head lights which are very good indeed. Removable fibreglass bonnet with quick release catches and leather strap make for easy access.

On stepping into Austin you are greeted with a MK1 inspired interior! This is just perfect. Centre MK1 speedo with water & Oil temp gauges, also a Battery volts and Rev counter gives you all the info you need. You'll also notice the race style switches including a very cool starting procedure. Extra switches include wipers, internal light, heater etc. Speedwell black classic bucket seats with matching rear seat and doors cards, a very nice carpet set and 4 point Sabelt harnesses in yellow hold you in place. Finished with a Mota Lita Wooden steering wheel, the MK1 vibe is all there.

In summary this is one special Mini that can be used as a fast road, even a track day toy or indeed a show winner.
