The epitome of a sleeper mini! 125 BHP 7 Port Specialist Components master piece!

One of the last Rover Mini Cooper Sports from 2000. This is a totally original shell other than the passenger door skin that was replaced after a car park trolly ding. Presents absolutely wonderfully. The red paint has just been treated to a full detail and retains a beautiful shine! The contrasting silver roof, bonnet stripes and door mirrors look great. The original wheels have been treated to a recent refurbishment, wrapped in Yoko A539 rubber and are mint. Lots of chrome work has also recently been replaced. The only real note to what lies beneath are the bonnet springs.

Interior wise the Mini Coopers really shone. Full black & silver seats with black & silver lined door cards. The alloy dash houses all the important information including speedo, rev counter, water temp & fuel and the additional 3 gauges, oil temp, battery volts & clock all in magnolia. Cooper alloy door furniture, leather dash rail, alloy gearknob, black carpets & the addition of a CD player and speaker system finishes the inside off perfectly.

Under the bonnet is where Rudy is taken to the next level, sitting there is a Specialists Components 1380cc 7 port beast. The block was acid dipped and cleaned, re surfaced, rebored & honed, machined for centre strap and new cam bearings. Dry build for deck height, toughened and balance crank. 73.5mm Omega pistons, VP2 bearings and thrusts, oil filter head, high capacity oil pump, A+ rods resized with ARP, roller rockers, billet 280 degree 7 port camcam kit including Vernier gear, centre main strap, ARP head bolts. Billet alloy pack including new timing case cover. ITG air filter and iridium spark plugs. SC 7 port cylinder head 36*31 with EFI system and billet throttle bodies. The gearbox has had the same level of treatment,  all new bearings, centre oil pick up pipe, X-pin diff and Stage 2 ultralight steel flywheel and rally plate. New syncro hubs and clutch arm/release brg heavy duty. All of this results in an epic 125 BHP & 126 IBFT and is a very quick Mini. Maniflow stage 2 injection LCB + link pipe, Maniflow 1.75 cat back system with single exit means that this Mini sounds absolutely sensational! The suspension has of course been uprated also, Protech adjustable shocks, Hi-Los kit, adjustable tie rods and bush kit, 1.5 degree camber arms, all new bushed on bottom arms, all this keeps you glued to the road. High torque starter motor and uprated alternator. New master cylinder and slave cylinder. The brakes have also been uprated, new callipers, discs & pads, rears rebuilt and braided hoses. Total cost for the engine and gearbox work is £15000.

In summary Rudy is the ultimate Mini, has a fantastic history file, both sets of keys and goes like a rocket! What else could you want!
