Meet Lyra! Our GREATEST mini to date!
Lyra started life in September 2000 (making her one of the last) Rover Mini Coopers! Today she presents better than new with a twist!
Having recently had a complete and comprehensive restoration at a cost of £11k, she presents perfectly! The restorations included a full strip down, removing of all rot, wings, A -panels, scuttle panel, front panel, sills, inner sills, door skins, door bottoms, rear valance and other various corroded areas. Replaced with new heritage panels and freshly fabricated areas as required. The body was then panel beaten to reshape anything else, prep'd and primed. Then repainted in her original Tahiti blue metallic paint and contrasting white roof! Everything externally was then refurbed or replaced with new. Pay special attention to the brand new stunning white and polished rim superlight 13inch wheels wrapped in Yoko A359 tyres. I also love the white stripes and door mirrors. Limo tinted glass finishes the look off perfectly.
The twist I refer to is of course the 1310cc supercharged Crafted Classics engine! This is truly a work of art, I wont tell you the cost of this but safe to say it's more than the restoration! Ive never driven an A series mini that pulls like this. The Vmax Scart Supercharger and kit is outstanding and of course it's had the full treatment, fully stripped, cleaned rebored, honed, resurfaced blah blah then built up including Omega pistons, ARP everything, Centre strap, cam shaft, followers, bearing etc, vernier timing gear, 1.3 roller rockers, MPI ecu D400, AT Power throttle body, upgraded injectors, goes on and on. Paired with an LCB manifold and Jetex performance exhaust and cat (this mini sounds like nothing I've heard) the flywheel, clutch and gearbox have of course had the same level of upgrades including an ATB diff. Making a very impressive 127.5bhp with 150nm torque this makes for an extremely fast mini and pulls all the way through the rev range! A brand new loom was also used. All new suspension including cones (red dot), hi los etc.
Internally you'll find the original Cooper interior in black with all new carpets. Colour matched clock surround and black dash housing all the important info in white dials. Again all the original steering wheel, gear knob and accessories.
In summary this is our greatest mini to date, not only does it have the perfect body and stunning interior it's a rocket ship, GUARANTEED to win any show it attends.
Super low ticket numbers of just 1310, don't miss your opportunity to win Lyra.
