Externally Poppy has clearly had a lot of money spent . The red paint has a wonderful deep shine and the contrasting cream roof looks awesome! MK1 bonnet and boot along with Lucas revers lamp, chrome number plate light, period correct boot handle and twin tank fuel caps gives you an idea of what look the owner was going for. 10x6 inch Mamba wheels in silver wrapped in Falken FK-07E rubber and covered by group 2 body painted arches set Poppy apart. All the usual chrome including MK1 grill, bumpers, door handles, light surrounds present immaculately. Pay special attention to the chrome bullet mirrors. A clear lens kit finish the look off fantastically.

Under the bonnet sits a nicely tweaked 1310cc, the spec includes a metro cam, single HIFF44 carb paired to a wonderfully sounding Maniflow LCB and exhaust system. Having done only 3600 Miles since being rebuilt and fitted this engine feels like new. Of course all the usual suspension upgrades including Hi-Los, Kyaba self adjusting shocks, tie bar & camber are here. The 10 inch wheel conversion includes 4 pot callipers, 7.4 inch discs and new pads. Poppy was recently driven from Edinburgh to Oxford and didn't miss a beat. Worth mentioning the service history that comes with this mini is spectacular, all MOTS!

Opening the door to Poppy reveals what can only be described as the perfect interior. It just feels good. The stunning Cobra black leather clad seats with matching rear seats, black brocade door cards and deluxe black carpets, note the Red piping and red seatbelts. MK1 speedo conversion houses all the important info including speed, temp and oil pressure gauge. 7 ball gear knob, alloy door furniture and a Mota Lita wooden steering wheel finish the early mini vibe off perfectly. CD player and speakers take care of your music needs.
