He started life in 1995 as a 1.3i Mini Cooper and was fully restored in 2014 at a huge cost, painted in his original British racing green paint.

A Specialist Components 1293cc Turbo engine producing a whopping 150 BHP with 156 Ibft at 1 bar boost, so loads left in it. This engine and gear box cost £12,000!

1275cc engine block was acid dipped, re surfaced, had new cam bearing, machined for centre strap then rebored & honed to 1293cc with 1293cc pistons, IASA forged, VP2 bearing + thrusts, SC steel rods + ARP's.  Avonbar PH2 cam, centre main strap, ARP head bolts, SC 5 port EFI kit inc air filter, light weight flywheel and fast road clutch kit, SC EN24T flywheel bolt/washer, billet alloy pack: new timing case cover assembly, oil filter head, braided transfer pipe. Fusion Fabs manifold and downpipe. Monster Garrett GT1752 turbo. On top of all of this the crank was balanced, wedge/blade and ground. This engine has done 150 miles since being fitted.

Gearbox was acid dipped and bead blasted then a SC gearset & 4 pin diff were fitted.

Stepping inside you are greeted by a brand new Newton Commercial red leather interior with matching door cards. Original wooden dash houses all the important information, John Cooper signature alloy door furniture, Cooper leather steering wheel, SC gearknob all finished off with a CD player with 6 discs and infinity speakers in the doors and rear shelf.

Underneath the car is everything that you'd expect in a Mini of this level! Gaz adjustable shocks, adjustable tie bars & camber arms. Minisport 4 pot calipers with 7.5in grooved & vented discs, colour coded rear superfins. SC 13inch classic split rims 10x7 wrapped in sticky Yoko Advan-032 semi slick tyres.

In summary this is the best Mini to date, it's got it all!
