A recent light restoration included new A panels and a rear valance, the rest of the Mini is original metal, then a fresh re paint in flame Red with a white roof & mirrors. Genuine Rover stainless steel bumpers, new arches , top tint windscreen, new badges, all new rubbers, the list goes on and on. Powder coated subframes. Spot the stunning 5x12 inch Rosepetal alloys with 165 Yoko 539 tyres.

Now for the ultimate twist....... A freshly built 1293cc modified engine. Some of the spec includes Omega pistons 6.5cc offset dish, 37/31 race spec head, Kent cams springs, MED steel top caps and bronze guides, ARP rod bolts and head stud kit (11 stud) Kent cams 274 X-drilled billet cam, titanium cam nut. 1.5 roller rockers, MED alloy back plate, Vernier duplex with IWIS chain, MED ultra light flywheel and uprated clutch, Minisport uprated clutch arm kit. Close ratio 1275 GT gearbox with 3.4 diff ratio (speedo corrected to suit) Minispares 4 pin diff and centre oil pickup. Paired to a Maniflow and Playmini large bore exhaust (sounds epic) Magnacore leads and hi power coil. Lots of DSN billet parts, engine steadies, thermostat housing, oil filter housing, pulleys etc. All sensors replaced and all new ancillaries. All this results in somewhere around 100 bhp (ECU limited) but after running in is complete, be good to unleash it all. Of course the brakes and suspension have had the same treatment and have 7.9 vented discs with alloy 4 pot calipers with Green stuff pads and updated drive flanges. Negative camber arms and adjustable TCA's, lowered GAZ dampers, red dot cones, genuine Hi-Lo's and solid subframe mounts. DSN rear subframe trunnions and Minifin rear drums along with braided lines throughout take care of all the stopping power.

Interior wise its completely standard Cooper in black half leather with lighting cloth centres. The nice addition of a Momo steering wheel and alloy gearknob give a nod to the potential performance that lurks under the bonnet.

This is a low owner example and presents immaculately, this is the Cooper that Cooper should have built for the enthusiasts, not over the top but enough to make it special.
