Meet Buster.

YES, you read the title correctly, Buster is a 1293cc Avonbar Turbo Mini. Ive been looking for a Turbo Mini for some time and here is he.

Let's get straight into the spec.......

BODY

Having had a recent full body restoration it was stripped to bare metal, new front wings, bonnet, front and rear valance, boot floor, door skins, A panels and brand new front & Rear subframes we fitted, then group 2 arches added. The body was then sprayed inside & out in Rover Nautilus blue with the roof painted Black. MK2 rear lights, MK2 bumpers with overriders, MK5 slat grill, Halcyon mirrors, Climair window deflectors, 2 x Lucas spotlights on front grill and finished off with a chrome rear centre fog light. I think you'll agree this is a thing of beauty.

Engine & Gearbox:

a 1293cc Full Avonbar engine, Garret T3 turbo (at 8psi) Stage 4 head, Omega pistons, Avonbar cam, full stainless 2" exhaust, oil cooler, super cool 2 core rad, turbo downpipe, alloy rocker cover, conversion box, braided oil feed pipe, modified plenum kit, green cone filter, oil pump, high performance ignition coil, twin cooling fan, has been dyno'd at 116 BHP. All linked up straight cut gears, new turbo clutch plate, also had a resent gearbox check over with some extra new parts fitted. This is remarkable fast and the whine of the straight cut gears is magnificent.

Suspension:

Fully adjustable all round, Adjustable camber front & rear Hi-Los, new Gaz shock absorbers also.

Brakes:

Ap four pot calipers, green stuff pads, braided hoses, grooved discs stop you nice and slowly.

Wheels:

Rare set of 5 spoke 13x6 Compomotives fitted with Yokohama 539 tyres.

Interior:

Full Cobra clubman interior, alloy dash with walnut clock surround, Mountney leather steering wheel, Luke pro 4 harnesses (50mm wide) in blue. Trigger hand brake with matching alloy gear knob makes for a very tactile experience. A JVC CD player with speakers underneath the rear seats & on the rear side panels. You wont want these on as listening to the Turbo and gearbox is all you'd ever need.

Having travelled only a few thousand miles on only sunny days in the last few years, Buster presents in outstanding condition. This mini is truly remarkable, goes like a rocket, feels brand new and sounds totally epic. He comes will a huge file of paper work, including full service history and 2 sets of keys.
