Having started life in 1991 as a limited edition Studio 2, today he's quite different.

Having been fully restored to an outstanding level by a renowned restorer which included all the usual metal replacement, the decision was taken to paint him in Island blue (an original early Mini colour) with an old english white roof, the perfect combination in my mind. Contrasting black painted arches and door mirrors look great. A MK1 grill along with all brand new stainless steel, including bumpers, light bezels, wipers, door handles etc look mint. Clear lens kit finished the external look off fantastically.

Internally you'll find a BRAND NEW (original) Cooper interior which is in perfect condition. Matching black original door cards and carpets are also in mint condition. You'll spot the Cooper cream clocks including speedo, rev counter, temp and fuel gauges. An upgraded black painted dash houses the upgraded CD player and additional cream matched clock. A black leather steering wheel & gearknob are the final touch.

Under the bonnet is an upgraded 1275cc engine that's had a total rebuild. A stage one tune which includes a Hiff 44 carb, K&N pan filter, LCB and full RC40 exhaust system make Jay sound awesome. All brand new subframes and accessories were fitted including upgraded Cooper S 7.5 inch brake conversion for extra stopping power and to allow the fitting of the all important 10x6 inch Revolution wheels in contrasting black, wrapped in sticky Falken FK07E tyres. Everything is new! Completely polybushed with upgraded Monroe shocks. All braided hoses. Having only done a few hundred miles since completion and having been stored in a car Carcoon since completion, this is better than new.
