Meet Curtis.
As you can see this is a freshly FULLY restored stunning mini. Having had a small fortune spent on him over the last few years which includes a full restoration with floors, inner & outer sills, boot floor, rear arches, rear valance and all the usual front end panels being replaced. Then freshly painted in nardo grey to an extremely high standard with black contrasting accessories, this includes, roof, arches and all chrome being done. Paired with 10 inch wheel conversion also finished in black (spot the orange painted insides) with brand new Yoko A008 165/10 rubber. Curtis is totally mean looking. A GUARANTEED show winner in my opinion.
Under the bonnet is a totally rebuilt 1275cc engine, everything has been replaced. Paired to a HIFF 44 carb and 3 branch LCB and full centre exit exhaust this of course sounds epic. The gear box was also refreshed at the same time meaning that this Mini wants for nothing. Take note of the orange painted engine block and bonnet catch. In late 2021 after the build was complete he was sent to Southam Mini centre for the final setting up, this included, full wheel alignment, front hubs upgraded with brand new wheel bearing kits. Rear brakes stripped out and adjusting for the MOT and a full rolling road set up, resulting in a great 60bhp, extremely useable power. Of course everything underneath is adjustable as expected.
Internally you'll see the same attention to detail everywhere you look. The upgraded seats are a thing of beauty, re trimmed in black leather and alcantara! The matching union jack doors card and rear parcel shelf with contrasting orange stitching tie in very neatly with the 4 point TRS orange harnesses and other splashes of orange around the cabin and black carpets. A rear seat delete shows the quality of the paint job also. An original wooden John Cooper gear knob is a rare thing indeed. Black leather 3 spoke black painted Mounty steering wheel and alloy door furniture finish this mini off perfectly. This is some where you happily spend lots of miles.
In summary Curtis is one of our best to date, this Mini is stunning, perfect in every way, he has it all. This is one of the best Mini builds I've ever seen and will WIN whatever show he attends in my opinion.
