Meet Alfred!
Our first ever clubman estate, I've been searching high and low for one of these.
He started life in 1971 and presents some what differently today. Having been fully restored a few years ago which included lots of new panels and a full bare metal respray in stunning Audi Nardo grey, a documented photographic history comes with him. Full contrasting black decals, custom black painted 1275 GTT grill (more on this later), bumpers, mirrors and group 2 arches finish the look off perfectly. Pay special attention to the stunning 5x10 inch black & silver Mamba alloys wrapped in sticky Yoko A023R tyres. Upgraded LED head lights and the startup light display this Mini has is epic, make sure you checkout my Instagram to see it! The coolest custom thing I've ever seen!
Internally this mini continues to shine, a BRAND NEW JCS Custom trim full interior commissioned by me especially for this build, consists of fully re trimmed SPI front seats, original rear bench seat, all interior panels and matching door cards in black, its a thing of beauty, in fact the best interior I've ever seen in a Mini. You will of course have noticed the one off custom dash & centre console, the eagle eyed amongst you might recognise the style from a pervious competition Mini, Aston (built by the same person and whom restores classic Aston Martins for a living). The centre console houses the speedo, temperature, USB & USC points, below the custom switch panel includes lights, hazards, choke & heater controls. To the right you'll spot the rev counter, water temp & battery volts. On the left is were it gets even more trick, a clock and then a blank screen, this is where you link your phone via bluetooth or USB and you can link Amazon Alexa plus stream your music and it looks amazing! CD player and a speaker housed in the centre console means everyone gets great audio. Speedwell gear knob, alloy hand brake handle and door furniture all add to the experience. Nardi black leather steering wheel (exceptionally rare) and full luxury grey carpets finish Alfred off perfectly.
Under the bonnet you'll find a stunning 1310cc modified A series engine making 90bhp, paired to a straight cut gear box and wonderful sounding exhaust, this Mini is a quick car indeed! You'll spot the amazing stance of this clubman, upgraded shocks and adjustable suspension make this possible. 7.5 Cooper S disc conversion with associated callipers for the 10 inch wheels takes care of all your stopping requirements. These are painted in contrasting red along with the rear hubs tying in nicely with the under bonnet red theme. The subframes were completely stripped and rebuilt when the restoration was done. Cooling is taken care of by the upgraded alloy radiator and silicone hoses.
Alfred has it all, a true one off Mini with a luxury interior but can mix it with other fast Minis, goes like a rocket, looks the bomb and has all the mod cons you could want!
