An old school tuned 1275 Mini.

Baloo is a 1988 Austin Mini City E that has been fantastically modified. He's as he left the factory panel wise which is very unusal these days. A fresh new paint job in stunning Henley blue with black contrasting genuine SportPack arches along with a MKI bonnet and grill make for a cool colour scheme. All new stainless & chrome accessories means he's shining away. The Ultralite 6.5x10 inch wheels with black centres and silver rims look mega set against the blue and black theme. Upgraded headlights and a clear lens kit along with the limo tinted rear windows finish the look off perfectly. You may also spot the red painted accents underneath also. The gearbox was rebuilt and modified with a central oil pickup pipe, X pin diff and a SC gear set so is just perfect.

Under the bonnet sits a perfectly modified 1275cc engine, some of the spec includes a Swiftune SW5-07 cam shaft, 12G1805 fully worked head (Cooper S MK3), Hiff 44 carb with a custom profiled needle, K&N filter, LCB manifold paired to a Fletcher full exhaust system that sounds epic! Plenty more work has been carried out and means Baloo is making a rather lovely 80 bhp! The addition of an upgraded alternator is a must on any Mini. Fletcher silicone hoses and alloy radiator keep everything nice and cool. Fully adjustable suspension and GAZ shocks. Baloo has a 10 wheel conversion meaning he's got Cooper S callipers and 7.5 inch discs plus SuperFins to the rear and braided lines that take care of all the stopping requirements. A new rear subframe that's been painted in contrasting red along with the front and some other underside accessories for that pop of colour look awesome.

Internally less is more is the theme! We have two lovely (and unbelievably comfortable) Fiesta RS Turbo seats with red contrasting harnesses, this is a proper old school Mini mod! An alcantara deep-dish steering wheel with centre marker and matching alcantara door cards add to that race car vibe. Black top and bottom dash rails along with Cooper 500 cream clocks that house all the important info like, speed, revs, fuel, temperature and the addition of a side mounted oil pressure gauge look awesome. DSN sun visor, alloy door furniture, gearknob and handbrake lever finish the inside off.
