Having just been freshly restored he presents like new. Lots of fresh new metal including wings, front valance, A panels and bonnet, front floor sections and door steps sills etc. The decision was taken to keep him as close to how he left the factory as possible with the addition of a brand new set of 5 x 12 Minilight alloys in contrasting black with silver highlight. Wrapped in brand new Nankang NA1 rubber. All new chrome and stainless steel accessories with the new arch spats and colour matched mirrors finish the look off perfectly.

Under the bonnet we find a 1.3i single point injection these are 1275cc litre engine that is naturally aspirated, overhead valve, 4 cylinder that develops 53 bhp (57 PS/39 kW) of power at 5700 rpm, and maximum torque of 95 N·m (60 lb·ft) at 3900 rpm. Power is transmitted to the wheels via a 4 speed manual transmission. The kerb weight is 700 kg. It is claimed to manage a top speed of 148 km/h or 92 mph, official fuel consumption is 5.8/8.4/7.7 l/100km 90 km/h / 120 km/h / city. These have a fantastic sound and pull along very nicely, Reggie has a full RC40 exhaust system with an LCB manifold so sounds that extra bit special. His engine was also refreshed whilst out for the restoration and included many new parts including all new seals & gaskets. The gearbox was given the same treatment. Everything else was refurbished or replaced with new. So he's ready to go.

Internally again the standard and original theme continues, his mint condition interior was removed, cleaned and re fitted with all new carpets from Newton Commercial. The leather clad steering wheel is like new as is the alloy gear knob. The addition of a bluetooth connective cd player and rear parcel shelf take care of all your musical requirements.
