Meet Sylvie.

She is one of JUST 192 left on the road of the the super limited 1000 Rover Mini Sidewalks ever made (500 were only ever for the UK)!

Sylvie presents as she left the factory and a few years ago under went a light restoration which included new sills, inner and outer, door steps and a few other small bits. She's the best you'll find. These were available in 3 colours being charcoal metallic, Kingfisher blue & diamond white , Sylvie is of course the charcoal (the best in my opinion). All stainless steel bumpers and chrome accessories are all original and present wonderfully. New decals look fantastic. She also retains here original wheel trims that are almost impossible to find now.

Under the bonnet we find a 1.3i single point injection these are 1275cc litre engine that is naturally aspirated, overhead valve, 4 cylinder that develops 53 bhp (57 PS/39 kW) of power at 5700 rpm, and maximum torque of 95 N·m (60 lb·ft) at 3900 rpm. Power is transmitted to the wheels via a 4 speed manual transmission. The kerb weight is 700 kg. It is claimed to manage a top speed of 148 km/h or 92 mph, official fuel consumption is 5.8/8.4/7.7 l/100km 90 km/h / 120 km/h / city. These have a fantastic sound and pull along very nicely. Sylvie has just had some light work here including a brand new upgraded alternator, rocker cover removed and repainted with a new gasket, all new pipes and a complete service including water pump and all fluids. Having travelled just 40,423 miles from new with just 2 owners (the 1st being from new until late 2022) she's a real time capsule. Comes with a complete service history in her original booklet thats fully stamped & MOT history and even her original bill of sale showing £6025 in 1995. Lots of love and money has been lavished on her over the years with some of the recent work including a full head rebuild, new manifold, brand new rear subframe and all new brakes.

Stepping inside you wont find a better Mini interior. The blue & red tartan with plain blue upholstery is unique to the Sidewalk and presents in new condition. Matching door cards with 1/4 bottom clad in black to protect again scuffing and front storage pockets make for a useful space. Red seatbelts are awesome. Retaining her original door furniture and an original leather steering wheel & gear knob elevate her nicely. Red carpets, her original working radio and matching red boot kit finish it all off nicely.
