Meet Rocky!
He's a 1991 Mini Cooper and now super rare 1275cc carburettor model, one of the last. He of course sports the most famous name in Mini history, COOPER, which means he feels that little extra special.
Rocky has been subject to a full restoration in recent times that included lots of new metal and he's now wearing fresh red paint with contrasting black roof and arches. Finished with all the usual chrome accessories including brand new stainless steel bumpers and bullet mirrors. We've just added a brand new set of Ultralite 5x12 inch alloy wheels in black with red pin striping and they are wrapped in Yoko A539 rubber. Brand new and all important Cooper badging. Flush spot lamps in the grill and black seam trim makes him stand out that little bit extra.
Interior wise these were by far the best spec Mini ever, upgraded very comfy and sporty seats trimmed in full black leather with the famous Cooper red piping, Cooper embossing, matching door cards with pocket storage, plush black carpets and upgraded leather steering wheel that just feels quality. We have just added a brand new charcoal 3 clock centre dash housing all the important information and double glove boxes. Spot the red seat belts and red gearstick surround and the alloy later cooper gearknob. He also has a sounds system with bluetooth stereo and custom internal lights.
Under the engine we find a 1275cc litre carb engine that is naturally aspirated, overhead valve, 4 cylinder that develops 62 bhp (63 PS/46 kW) of power at 5700 rpm, and maximum torque of 95 N·m (70 lb·ft/9.7 kgm) at 3900 rpm from standard but Rocky has just had a stage one tune and total head rebuild that includes porting and polishing, HIFF 44 carb, K&N filter, 3 branch manifold and this is paired to a centre exit exhaust meaning he's now making 73 bhp.The engine has clearly been rebuilt at some time. Power is transmitted to the wheels via a 4 speed manual transmission with a quicker shifter. These have a fantastic sound and pull along very nicely. Upgraded brakes and adjustable suspension add to that sharp feeling. He has also just had comprehensive service and fresh brakes.
So why not get in the mix to win this appreciating British icon for a few quid.
