Luma started life as a Mini Tahiti in 1994. As you see she presents far from that today. After having a full bare shell restoration in 2019/20 the colour of Austin Island blue was chosen for a period correct vibe, as the decision had already been taken to go down the Cooper Car Company styling avenue. With this is mind you see the contrasting Old English white roof, White bonnet stripes, matching white side decals and door stickers. Group 2 arches, 12 inch black mini lites wrapped in Yokohama A539 tyres, finishing the external look off perfectly is all the chrome you could ask for, Mirrors, Grill, Bumpers, door handles etc.

Under the bonnet we have the original but totally rebuilt 1275cc engine, paired with the original and also rebuilt HIF38 carb and full exhaust system this is another wonderful sounding Mini, nice and peppy and pulls along fantastically. Brand new brake & clutch master cylinders fitted, a brand new radiator, fan & belt, also a new 70 watt alternator and a new 065 battery. Only showing 37000 miles She's ready for many more happy miles. The engine has been also painted in period correct green.

Internally you will spot the 70's clubman half leather/half velour seats front and rear, black original clubman doors cards paired with original door furniture and a matching blue wrapped dashboard. What look to be new carpets in black and a few modern touches such as the Retro Components clock with usb, CD player & speakers. The leather clad Mountney three spoke steering wheel & matching stunning BMC gear knob finish it off perfectly.

All in all this makes for a special Mini and of course drives wonderfully.
