Meet Teddy.
The Austin/Morris 1275 GT is the greatest of all production Minis (in my humble opinion)
Teddy is a freshly restored stunning example. Built on the 29th December 1978 and later registered on the 4th June 1979 and dispatched to Dutton Forshaw ltd, Maidstone. The factory fitted options include Inertia reel seatbelts, 155 Denovo radial tyres, dip left lights and a normal duty battery. Having just been subject to a total restoration including lots of new metal, floors, boot floor, Inner & outer wings, bonnet and so much more. Several new coats of his original shade of Java green including full underside raptoring look amazing. The all important 1275 GT decals and brand new 12 inch MiniLight alloys wrapped in Nankang rubber and all new or re chromed parts finish him off perfectly.
Under the bonnet sits the original engine that had travelled 55500 miles this has been totally overhauled and rebuilt to standard specification. The gearbox had the same treatment. Having travelled just 500 shake down miles this Mini feels like new! Everything else was refurbished and replaced with new, the subframes have been overhauled. Brand new suspension with upgraded Hi-Los. New calipers, discs and braking system plus tones of other new parts. Also worth noting is the brand new wiring loom front and rear thus meaning none of those Mini wiring gremlins.
Internally the same level of detail has been lavished. A brand new basket weave interior with matching door cards from Newton Commercial. Brand new black carpets, headling and dash fillers tie it all together. The original clocks, door furniture and top and bottom rails along with the steering wheel and upgraded alloy gearknob make this the perfect interior. Comes with his original manual and 2 sets of keys.
The 1275 GT's are now at the level the Cooper S's in values and only going one way and that is up! So why not get in the mix to win one of the best out there for a few quid.
